    This photo shows Isaac W. Kitchen on the stump in front of his Lovelock Hotel. This photo was taken in 1894 in Lovelock, CA. Beyond the hotel is his store, with a dance hall upstairs. The store building also housed his saloon, butcher shop, and the post office. Six of the Kitchen children and their mother are near the stump at right. From the left they are Louise, Mrs. Kitchen holding baby George, Oscar and Ida May on the stump, then Isaac and Warren.
