      !MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE:State of Missouri; County of Newton:
      This License Authorizes any Judge of a Court of Record or Justice of the
      Peace, or any Licensed or Ordained Preacher of the Gospel, who is a citizen of
      the Unites States to Solemnize Marriage between, Robert Nance of Neosho
      in the County of Newton and State of Missouri, who is over the age of
      twenty one years; and Lottie Arnold of Neosho in the County of
      Newton and State of Missouri, who is over the age of eighteen years.
      Witness my hand as Recorder, with the Seal of office hereto affixed, at my
      office in Neosho, Mo, this 21 day of Dec 1897. By W.E. Sives Deputy
      H.C. Beach Recorder. This is to certify that the undersigned Um A Garoutte,
      Minister of the Gospel did at the residence of the bride in said County, on
      the 23rd day of December A.D. 1897 unite in Marriage the above named persons.

      !NOTE: Robert,the 4th child of Clement and Isabelle Nance, was born after
      their return from Texas. At the beginning of the Civil War several families
      from the McDonald and Newton County Missouri area left the state and moved
      temporarely to the state of Texas.
